Leading Change with Patrick Powaser

Leading Change with Patrick Powaser

Change has always been part of our lives (and will always be). The question is, will you let it happen to you, or will you take charge and make change work for you? As leaders, we have the opportunity and responsibility for driving effective change in our organizations and communities. Change can be scary. It can also provide opportunities for us to grow, learn, and drive greater performance in our companies.

Your take aways:

  • A clear understanding how you, as a leader, can influence change and drive enhanced business results.
  • Simple frameworks that can help you make change stick in your organization.
  • Tools that can help you more effectively plan for change and diagnose why change is not happening the way you wanted.
  • More comfort welcoming change versus hiding from it.

High-Stakes Executive Presentation Skills

C-suite leaders are frequently called upon to speak – to present financial information to board members, inspire senior leaders to implement new initiatives, deliver feedback to employees, or share organizational best practices as speakers and panel participants. Irrespective of the high-stakes situation, for executives and senior leaders to generate the results they seek from their communication, they must navigate through real (and at times, self-imposed) barriers to communication success.

Led by Alexia Vernon, a seasoned executive speaking coach with a unique ability to create safe spaces for senior leaders to develop their authentic speaking style and amplify their verbal and non-verbal speaking skills, in this experiential session, participants will heighten their presence and speaking delivery, explore speaking to the “head and the heart,” and sculpt more powerful calls to action so that every time they speak they come across as credible, likeable, and trustworthy.

By the end of this session, participants will:

= Possess tools to navigate uncomfortable feelings that emerge in high-stakes speaking situations.

= Discover how to prepare for and excel during high-stakes speaking opportunities.

= Increase their persuasiveness (and self trust!) so that can move people to take action on their ideas.
